We wanted to take the time to explain how the Virtual Boise Marathon will work. The virtual marathon will begin on October 25th and will be open for all participants for one week! The submission deadline for your time submissions is November 1st. Please note that submissions that go past this time will not be accepted. This is to help us make sure that everyone gets their medals and shirts within a reasonable timeframe.
Of course, what would an athletic event be without a little bit of flashy swag?! We will still be sending you your special Boise Marathon medals and shirts! We will make sure that we have your size shirt on file and if we don’t we will reach out to you to make sure we get all of the necessary information. In that same vein, if you have changed your mailing address since registering for the marathon, PLEASE notify us immediately! We won’t be shipping materials out past November 25th, so make sure your information is up to date!
If you have any issues receiving your Marathon swag bags, please let us know as soon as possible! We have done our absolute best to make sure this event is memorable and fun for all of you even with the most recent changes. We want you all to come back to this event and join us in person next year!
Finally, for those of you that have decided to roll your registration over into next year’s event keep an eye out for our follow-up email! We are currently exploring new registration platforms that have prevented us from setting up next year’s platform. Once we have this all set up, we will notify you all and send out detailed instructions outlining what will happen next!
It goes without saying, but I want to personally thank each and every one of you for continuing to support the Boise Marathon and for being so kind, patient, and understanding during this tumultuous time.
